Struvenh�tten was first mentioned in 1436

The first historic certificate of the village Struvenh�tten stems from the year 1436. Struvenh�tten was then a settlement around a glassworks.

The glassworks was turned into a dairy farm from 1632 to 1651; it became a pure agricultural business. The steward was a civil servant of the kind.

In the year 1930 the cultural office in Oldesloe took over the�estate and divided it off. Eight full-time farmers' settlements and�nine workers settlements were created. Through the estate's division and the resettlement of the new settlement places into the village association the existence of the estate "H�tten" ended.

Struvenhütten has a dairy farm that could celebrate its 100year existence in 1988.

The dairy farm started working in with 13 farriers respective cottagers, who delivered the milk from 169 cows in 1888.
Today three tank lorries take a year's delivery of 40 million litres milk of the catchment area from Norderstedt to Großenaspe.

The many clubs and facilities that exist in Struvenh�tten can only be counted briefly: sports club, riding club, mixed choir, seniors' club, angling club, hunting club, kindergarten. One has to highlight the auxiliary fire brigade Struvenh�tten that celebrated its one hundred years jubilee in 1989.
Well worth mentioning is that Struvenh�tten has a post office since 1900. Around 1924 it was placed at the Gasthof Ernst Gerth in the annexed veranda.
